I think we may get the updated Transit Connect as a 2019. The new ones do look good.

I hate vans now. They were cool before, but now it’s just a Focus with a box 3DS Max’d on to the back of it.

Ye’, the current ones look good, but next to the new ones, the new ones look much better.

I mean it’s pretty much just a facelift but it’s worked.

I really like Transits and my employer does too, apparently. We got at least 35 of them.

Not a fan. Somebody finally showed the ford people a styling catalouge and they saw all the “Daylight” styling lights, with the LED strip throw in. The Connect looks super cheap, and the Transit has the same issue as the fiesta(entire lamp is circled by it).

Sorry, the better looking era was around 2010.

Because of course we won’t get anything useful or interesting ...

I don’t know. I like the Custom Tourneo.

Granted the new face looks better than the current one.

They are good vehicles.

The Ford Transit was once and I think to a degree still is called ‘the backbone of Britain’ because almost every business has or had one.

Kinja'd!!!

They’ve touched all walks of life and done a myriad of jobs.

I can see the Connect going stateside, but you don’t get the Transit Custom and probably unlikely to, or the Transit Courier.

On the bright side Ford are making the Edge ST which you’ll get.

Okay, erm, maybe not a good thing.

I like it. It’s nice to see cars getting some personality even after dark.

I believe I’ve seen little vans labeled Transit Courier here in the city, but I might be wrong ...

Ye’, as far as I’m aware you guys and gals get the Transit (full size) and the Connect both in van and tourneo form but don’t get the Courier or the Custom. The Courier sits between the Fiesta van and the Transit Connect, while the transit Custom sits between the Transit Connect and the Transit (full size).

I’d sooner have the Fords if I was driving them.

We’ve a few Vitos and the odd Viano as taxis where I live and they are okay.

Just not what I’d want.

That new Connect looks nice. To bad I’ll never convince my wife that a small van makes sooooo much sense

Don’t worry about it. You live in a country that isn’t convinced hatchbacks make more sense than saloons. I mean, a 4 door saloon Fiesta! Why?

Yeah, we’re gonna get the updated Transit Connect. The Wagon model has already been confirmed with a diesel option.

https://jalopnik.com/the-2019-ford-transit-connect-wagon-is-a-diesel-van-for-1822830542

And the cargo version has been a big seller here in the US, so I guarantee it’s gonna get that update and diesel option as well.

Speaking of the new EcoSport, I passed by a Ford dealer with two of them sitting in front of the showroom (both are lower, but not base model SE trim), and they look pretty good in person.

I don’t think I like the rework of the Transit Connect’s nose. It looks like it’s inheriting the pig-nose shape from its bigger brother, and trying way too hard to be aggressive. The current TConnect is so much better because the design isn’t trying to be all curves and edges - it’s just honest.

The older one looks like it’s got a hockey puck in it’s mouth though.
